Brickyard Gundogs Weekender Unleashed is a relaxed, action-packed training event that combines gundog training, including all essential training kit, that's fun and friendly at our working farm in a beautiful countryside setting.
Designed for gundog enthusiasts of all levels, this weekend features hands-on training sessions alongside an enjoyable friendly working test to challenge both dogs and handlers. Family members are welcome to come along and enjoy the experience, making it a great weekend away for everyone.
With refreshments available throughout and onsite complimentary camping included, guests can arrive on-site from 16:00 on Friday 28th August until 12:00 on Monday 31st August, making it the perfect opportunity to build skills, socialise, and spend quality time with your dog. Registration closes on 30th June 2026 so book now to avoid disappointment.

Heidi & Paul, owners of Brickyard Gundogs are both passionate about positive, enjoyable training that builds confidence for both dogs and their owners. Come sniff us out at Weekender Unleashed.

Meet Steph, a registered Veterinary Nurse with over 10 years experience and a pet first aid instructor, qualified to the ‘RECOVER’ initiative 2025 CPR guidelines. Steph will provide you with all the skills you need to carry out pet first aid confidently. The course is both theoretical and practical and includes: wound care, bandaging,
bites and stings, CPR, eye emergencies,

Meet Lee, proud owner and handler of multiple working dogs. Lee and his dogs regularly compete in working tests and field trials. They have been awarded several rosettes in Open Tests and Lee is a respected member of the United Retriever Club as well as sitting on their committee. Lee and his dogs regularly assist at a local Gundog training school sharing experience, knowledge and demonstrations.
