General Disclaimer

By attending any Brickyard Gundogs training session, you acknowledge and accept that participation is entirely at your own risk. Gundog training takes place in an outdoor, rural environment where hazards may be present.

Parking at Your Own Risk

All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. Brickyard Gundogs accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or their contents while on or near the training grounds.

Uneven Ground & Environmental Risks

Training takes place on natural terrain which may include uneven ground, mud, long grass, obstacles, and other hazards. Participants are responsible for taking appropriate care and wearing suitable footwear and clothing. Brickyard Gundogs cannot be held responsible for any injuries resulting from slips, trips, or falls.

Dogs, Handling & Welfare

• All dogs must be kept on leads at all times unless expressly instructed otherwise by the trainer.
• Handlers are responsible for maintaining full control of their dogs at all times.
• Dogs must only be exercised or allowed to toilet in designated areas as directed by Brickyard Gundogs.
• All dog waste must be picked up immediately and taken home with you.

Liability for Injury, Damage & Dogs

Brickyard Gundogs accepts no responsibility for:

• Personal injury to participants, spectators, or third parties.
• Loss of or damage to personal property, vehicles, equipment, or belongings.
• Any injury caused by a dog (including bites, scratches, or physical contact).
• Any illness, injury, infection, or condition affecting a dog during or after training.

All handlers are fully responsible for the behaviour, health, and control of their dogs at all times. Participation confirms acceptance of these risks.

Bookings & Payments

Places for Brickyard Gundogs training are limited and allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Full payment is required on arrival at each session unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Refunds are not available for block course bookings (i.e. Puppy Course). Once payment has been made, participants are committing to the full course. If you are unable to attend any or all sessions of the block course, no refund, credit, or transfer will be issued unless in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of the organiser.

Bitches in Season

Bitches in season are strictly not permitted to attend group training sessions. This policy is in place to ensure the safety, focus, and wellbeing of all dogs and handlers.

Cancellations & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can sometimes change, especially when it comes to dog training at Brickyard Gundogs. Please read the following policy carefully:

• If a class is cancelled by the organiser, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
• However, Brickyard Gundogs is not liable for any additional costs incurred, including travel, accommodation, or equipment.
• Sessions will proceed in most weather conditions.
• Refunds will not be issued due to adverse weather unless the organiser deems conditions unsafe and cancels the session.

GDPR & Data Protection

Brickyard Gundogs is committed to protecting your personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

• Any personal information collected (such as names, contact details, and dog information) will be used solely for the purpose of administering training sessions, bookings, and relevant communications.
• Your data will be stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.
• We may use photographs or videos taken during training sessions for promotional purposes (e.g. social media or website). If you do not wish to be included, please inform us in advance.
• You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.

By attending Brickyard Gundogs sessions, you consent to your data being processed in accordance with this policy.
